About Chef Alfonso Ramirez
Chef Alfonso Ramirez will lead you through a five course dinner as a representative from Robert Mondavi Winery tells the story and history of each wine. Catal Restaurant is pleased to feature the talent of Chef Alfonso Ramirez, former Executive Chef of Pinot Provence. Chef Ramirez is an alumnus of Patina Restaurant Group who worked at the original and remodeled Patina at Walt Disney Concert Hall. His dishes are often influenced by his passion and strong background in French cuisine and his desire to let high-quality ingredients speak for themselves. Over the course of his career, he has worked alongside Joachim Splichal at Patina, Lee Hefter at Spago and Eric Greenspan at Meson D and The Foundry.
